In April, we celebrated our fifteenth anniversary as a business! We began as three partners working in a spare bedroom, and now we have nearly 250 teammates nationwide. In 1999, our founding partners established Alternative Risk Concepts (ARC), a service dedicated to securing second injury fund recoveries for insurers. However, by 2002, they realized that there was additional opportunity in other business lines. They founded the eponymously named Crowe, Paradis, and Albren and began offering advocacy and representation services to individuals going through the lengthy, often complicated, process of applying for SSDI benefits.
With our commitment to being a business that seeks to educate and walk alongside our clients during a difficult time, we rebranded to become The Advocator Group in 2010. This decision has opened many doors for us and inspired us to keep growing our business—both in terms of size and the variety of services we provide. Our goal has always been – and remains today – to help as many people as possible.
Today, we proudly assist insurance companies through the second injury fund & recovery business, we assist disabled workers as they apply for and obtain their SSDI benefits, and we provide Medicare decision support to individuals trying to navigate their way through the Medicare enrollment process. Additionally, we proudly offer a prescription savings card (free of charge) to absolutely anyone—not only clients—who is paying for costly medications and we also have a strong “Refer a Friend” program in place where clients of ours can refer someone they know to us for assistance with an SSDI claim and potentially earn a $150 gift as a thank you for their referral!
These changes have been made possible by carefully investing in our business so we can ensure that the right people and processes are in place to provide proper education and support to each and every client. Just seven years ago, getting key correspondence to our clients included “stuffing parties” to fill envelopes in the conference room. Now, we’ve invested in technology and take advantage of a mail machine that helps us process all inbound and outbound mail quickly and efficiently so we can provide better service to our clients!
Despite all of these advancements, the accomplishment that we are most proud of is securing awards for tens of thousands of individuals who truly deserve them!

The decision to claim benefits is a personal one that is contingent upon each individual’s unique circumstances.
