A benefit verification letter is an official document from the Social Security Administration (SSA) that shows how much money you get each month from Social Security. Think of it as a summary of your monthly benefits or a Social Security letter of your awards. It’s different from your Notice of Award (NOA), which you get when your benefits are first approved.
What Information Does the Letter Provide?
This letter tells you:
How much your monthly Social Security payment is.
What your payment would be if Medicare or taxes were taken out.
When you can expect to receive your payments each month.

Online: The easiest way is to go to the SSA website and create an account. Once you’re logged in, you can view and print your benefit verification letter.
